This datapack makes it so that it can be different times for different players. When you sleep, it makes it daytime for you, but not for anyone else. This is particularly useful on large servers, where players are usually faced with the issue of not being able to sleep, or maybe even the issue of it always being daytime, although I haven't really seen that.

After you sleep, you get night vision for ten minutes, and the rest of the night is daytime, so mobs don't spawn like they do at night. Mobs still spawn, though, but only if the closest player to them is someone who hasn't slept. Also, spiders won't attack you if you've slept. Well, unless somebody who hasn't slept is closer to the spider than you are. But I don't know why the spider would attack you if there's someone closer.
Anyway, enjoy!

Update #2 : by Evanineo 06/04/2024 5:58:58 pmJune 4, 2024 @ 9:58 pm UTC

Now if you leave the game, the morning sky is removed until you come back. I also optimized it a little bit, it probably didn't do too much but it's also probably better than nothing. Also, I'm pretty sure that when you sleep in a world with other players, it doesn't say "blah blah blah players sleeping" anymore. It might not have previously, but it definitely doesn't now. Additionally, I tested to see if going to the Nether and back after sleeping would work, and it did.

thanks! I'm so happy that you like it, because tbh, although this is definitely the most useful datapack I've ever made, the minecraft server I play on didn't accept it when I suggested that they use it. so, you're welcome!
