A datapack I made. I originally set up a whole intro and stuff, but then I accidentally closed google. Watch the video, it should explain things well.
Simply, 1/250 chance when mining stone / deepslate, you can get an empty totem. by setting up an altar (shown in thumbnail, [4 yellow candles, lit] use that) and stepping on the candles when holding one in your main hand, it opens a menu. follow that to recharge it!
