Introducing my Minecraft Data Pack - "Transform Into Blocks"!
π Shape Shift: Become Minecraft Blocks! π
Have you ever dreamed of seamlessly blending into the Minecraft world? That's weird but with my data pack, "Transform Into Blocks," your dream becomes a reality! Using a simple command and a quick click, you can transform into any Minecraft block (except some special blocks like bed, banners, decorating pot...), immersing yourself in the game's charming pixelated environment. Whether you're looking to surprise your friends during hide and seek or simply want a fresh perspective, this data pack adds a touch of enchantment to your Minecraft journey.
π οΈ Setup and Usage π οΈ
After installation, initiate the command /function transformintoblocks:get_stick, which will give you a carrot on a stick, use it to click on any desired block initiates your transformation. You can revert to your original form by clicking on an empty space. Staying still for 2.5 seconds while transformed results in your block aligning with the rest. Additionaly for most full block it will add an invisible shulker at your position giving your block an hitbox.

For maximum enjoyment, I recommend pairing this data pack with a resource pack that eliminates entity shadows. This step ensures that partially formed blocks won't give away your clever disguise by casting shadows on the ground. The resource pack also disable the shulker head if optifine is used. The texture pack will also render shulker head invisible if you have optifine.

But there is no easier way to do it sorry.
When its in 1.20.4 it forces you to be a shulker box which isnt very nice, and secondly glitches out and turns into a trail when put on multiplayer.
