This is an updated version of a datapack I made a year ago. It involves handheld items that act as force fields against mobs and other entities.
To craft, simply throw the following items on the ground:
10 lapis blocks and 32 lightning rods will give you the normal force field.
10 redstone blocks and 32 lightning rods will give you the reversed polarity force field.
