Upgrade Tools and Armors is Datapack that change how to have golden/diamond tools/armors.

All crafts for Golden/Diamond tools/armors in the crafting table are removed.

Now you have to :
upgrade Iron tools/armors with Amethyst Shard in the place of the template and a Gold Ingot to have a Golden tool/armor.
upgrade Golden tools/armors with Amethyst Shard in the place of the template and a Diamond to have a Diamond tool/armor.

To upgrade Diamond tools/armors to Netherite tools/armors it's same as vanilla, you need a Netherite Upgrade Smithing Template and a Netherite Ingot.

You can craft Leather armors and craft Wooden and Stone tools in crafting table, it's same as vanilla, but you need to craft Iron tools/armors in crafting table then after upgrade Iron tools/armors into Golden tools/armors and upgrade Golden tools/armors to Diamond tools/armors.

Optimization :

  • Now the Datapack take less place, the recipe folders that remove some vanilla minecraft recipes are now empty, and they have not just items replaced by "air" that take still place.
