📖 Description
A very lightweight datapack which adds an easy to use and survival friendly way to change a villagers type ingame. No further setup needed.
It adds shears for every available villager type to the game which can be obtained within the game without altering any loot tables or similiar existing game mechanics. The shears can be used to change a villagers type.
🛠️ How to
After installing the datapack you simply have to throw bread to villagers which they can pickup.
If a villager picks up the item he will then occasionally drop either an item which fits his type, or a shear of it's type to change a villagers appearence.
To then use the shears you simply have to right click a villager with the shears in your mainhand and he will change its type according to the shears you just used.
🎨 Ressource Pack Compatibility
If you want to you can add custom textures (not provided) to the potions. Here are the Custom Model Datas for them:
- Snow Shears: 10001
- Desert Shears: 10002
- Jungle Shears: 10003
- Plains Shears: 10004
- Savanna Shears: 10005
- Swamp Shears: 10006
- Taiga Shears: 10007
