    Warden now drops a Ward armor trim.
    If playing in the latest snapshot, it can also drop the new Silence armor trim with a 2.5% default chance, looting increases the chances by 2.5% per level, with a maximum of 10% chance with looting 3.
    Now if you manage to kill a Warden you get little reward at least.

    Yeah of course! I didn't touch any of that, the pack just edits warden drops, then it is just like vanilla

    Honestly I think it would be a good idea to completely remove it from chests, as there's still no incentive to kill the warden even with this datapack, since you can just loot the trims normally.

    That is true but I think both ways to obtain it are cool, maybe I will do an alternative version that removes the item from chests.

    2.5% chance of an armor trim from killing a warden? That's absolutely brutal considering the rates are higher in chests which are orders of magnitude more easy to obtain lmao

    I feel like it's fine tbh. Mojang wanted it to be rare and I ain't complaining. Not sure how many times a player kills a Warden in a "normal" playtrough but I didn't want it to drop it every time you killed one or so.
