In this pack I seek to re-create the vanilla biomes in a way that makes a more realistic and atmospheric world.

I recommend using large biomes for the best experience.

Jungle - lowland tropical rainforest with massive trees and a wide variety of foliage

Modified Jungle - imposing terrain of varying plateaus broken by deep ravines (inspired by Skull Island from 2005 King Kong)

Shattered Savanna - basalt outcrops emerging from a dry semi-desert with scattered bushes and baobabs, inhabited by "wart-hogs"

Jungles Update!

This update improves every Jungle biome variant

1. The Jungles have many sub-biomes and the existing ones have been improved. Sub-biomes include: Rainforest, Dense Dark Rainforest, Eucalyptus Rainforest, Light Jungle and Sandy Jungle
2. Jungle Hills have about 4 sub-biomes. These include: Lowland Banyan Hills, Higher Hills, Lush Hills, and Dripstone Spike Hills
3. The Modified Jungle has three sub-biomes based on elevation. Highland Rainforest (y110-150), Cloud Forest (y140-180), and Tepui (y180+)
4. Modified Jungle Edge has been given the deepslate and tuff theme and special ores of the related Modified Jungle.
5. Bamboo Jungle has been given the new banyan trees as present in the Light Jungle and Lowland Banyan Hills sub-biomes.
6. Bamboo Jungle Hills have had bamboo limited as much as possible to the lowland valleys.
7. Jungle Edge has been given the new azalea palms as present in all the other jungle biomes where palms are present.

In addition to these changes, occasional palms have been added to the river edge in the African Desert sub-biome, Mushroom Fields has been give a new "flowering glow-banyan" tree and a wider variety of giant fungi, and many features which were formerly causing the "detected set block in far off chunk" error have been fixed.

Please download the newest versions of Caves and Cliffs add-on if you use that pack.

So i Noticed that in the desert lakes villages wouldn't generate and i was looking in the files and i noticed that the biome folder in the desert lakes file the code for villages in desert lakes generating isn't there unlike the other biomes and becuase of that i think that is the reason they are not generating

I actually removed them on purpose because since the update to 1.17 they started crashing the game whenever they tried to generate. When I figure out what’s wrong I’ll return them.

Thank You for this! I always loved biomes but those old lazy mojang people are so bad especially in biomes. I had a question. Can this work with the data packs that enhance world generation of nether and end? Also can you make some data packs for nether and end that would be cool! Anyways thank you alot!
