    I tried loading this up in 1.20.4 and it asked me to go into safe mode. I checked the logs, and it looks like instances of "minecraft:grass" haven't been updated to "minecraft:short_grass". This problem wasn't present for the base datapack or Cliffs and Coves.

    how much does this change? i was hoping itd make rivers connect to oceans but not sure if thats possible
