Java Combat vs Bedrock Combat

I want to know whether or not you guys like the Java combat system and all the neat things that come with that. Or the simplistically charming Bedrock combat system. Please be nice.

Java 1.9 and up. The new combat system makes the survival part of the game that much more interesting, while I do see that PvP wise, it really sucks.
