An Open Discussion about your all-time favorite thing about Minecraft! Keep it friendly yeah?
Personally, my favorite thing about Minecraft is the memories that I’ve created with it, from playing with my dad building pyramids and castles together on 1.8 when I was seven, exploring the world and having zero idea how to build a bed, to now hanging out with my friends building cool stuff, just chilling and having some fun.
Maybe you just like the game and don’t really know why, maybe it’s just because it’s cool, or maybe you’re channeling your creativity, playing minigames or beating the game in record time. Whatever your reason is, You. Do. You.
Anyways, I thought this might be a fun little thread, so have at it.

The ability to explore (technically not, but you know) infinite number of different worlds thanks to random terrain generation. New experiences and wonders each time I go nomadic exploring. That would be the cherry on top of the cake. :)

I really enjoy PvP in this game. The fact that having diamond stuff doesn't immediately make you immortal is a nice thing to play with, meaning you have to actually git gud at the combat to win.

I also do quite enjoy PvP every so often, and that is a really good point about the diamond armor.

The creativity and the ability to do whatever you want, without having to follow a theme or storyline. It's easy just to chill and have fun or make whatever you want.

Open world, I think is the term for it.

The infinitely generated landscapes. One of my favorite tings to do in survival is just to travel in a straight line and look around.

I appreciate how Minecraft is very inclusive. If you have friends playing on really any devices then you can all get together on Minecraft for a good time, whether it be on a public server, multi-player world or a realm.

I like that it is an open world game that does not pressure you to "finish" it.

My favorite thing about Minecraft is that it has never been a story-driven game.
From back when I started playing in 2012, the story was always my own to tell. It was always my world and I felt so happy acting out as the main character of my own world. This joy of Minecraft has really stayed the same throughout the years that I have played, and is deftly my favorite part about the whole game :D

There is a story, but the majority of it is for players to tell.
