Auto programming item sorter

Hey guys I have been working on this massive item sorter. and i ran into this. When coding the sorter to sort the items I just fill it with the normal 4 space holding blocks then i loaded the sorter at one of the Input chest and low and behold it automatically sorted each item into a column. It was just a cool concept thought i would share it just in case no one else has seen it i hadn't but as new as I am to the world that no surprise.. Any thoughts or colaberation would be awesome.
