I think I'm going to be the first one to say what everyone is thinking. Those skins were horrible. I'm not a good skinner and I don't aspire to be one. But those skins. You don't need a contest judge to tell you they're bad...

I've used the same Character for my skins (well most of them) and I've had a better turn out. i don't even find mine to be that great.

I recommend shading them, gradient shading at least, use MCSkin3D, I find Paint.NET helpful.
