What system of the armor texture is, is it the same like skin's?
And also, are there ANY new editors for the new 1.8 skin system?

There are two textures needed if i'm correct. one for the hat, chest, and boots and another separate one for the legs

MCSkin3D by Paril should support it.
The armor textures use the same model as pre-1.8 player skins.
