Help?!

Do you know how to get the assets folder out of the minecraft jar? If you do, then copy and paste it out of the minecraft jar to wherever you are storing your tresource pack. Then copy the contents of the 1.6 resource pack into the textures section of the assets folder and replace the default textures with yours. Everyone saying it needs a converter is confused. 1.6 is when the new format came out, not 1.7. Hopefully you can find it online if you don't know how, or I'll tell you how if you don't know. Hopefully I'm not too confusing.

If you can find it, somewhere on the Mojang website is a texture to resource pack convertor.

Just download the new 1.7 resource pack, and replace the img files with your own

OVERKILLERMAPMAKERI wanna start my old texture pack agian that i started in 1.6.4 but i dont know how to get the new blocks/items? I can't find them in my version file either? Help any one?

I think with the new Resource Pack system each block is in its own file. I don't know much about making texture packs other than that you CAN'T use old 1.6.4 and below texture packs in 1.7.X +

well you can use them, i am using it in mine just dosent replace the mobs and stuff i didnt finish
