I wanted to make a pack of my favourite Texture Packs for our server. But somehow I cannot edit the Sphax Dirt... I changed the dirt texture but when I place it it is still the old dirt one of Sphax...
Can you tell me how I can change that ?

its still dirt.png .... I just use THIS for myself..... first trying to solve this problem

Which dirt are you looking at in the game? Plain dirt or the coarse dirt?

okay but still what is doing this error so that I cannot use my own texture of dirt ?
Make sure you are saving in .png and you are matching up the name exactly. Also, reload the pack if you haven't already. To do this, remove the pack from you currently applied and then apply it again.

A remix pack that goes up onto a server? I could be wrong but I believe that would be against to rules for what Sphax lays down in using their pack.
I suggest contacting the creator for the various packs that you will be using and get both their help and their permission.
