Netherite is very good. But I'm sorry for Diamond. That was what Mojang decided.

I don't rlly like the idea of anything being better than diamond.
Diamond has been the best for 10 years, and now it's being replaced.

Personally, I love the idea, but I am EXTREMELY surprised that a new armour set and tool set is being added into vanilla.

Sure it will change alot about the game but with it being extremely rare and adding more use to the nether I think it works well and fits good in the new update.

I think blast mining will be the only realistic way to mine ancient debris since it has the same blast resistance as obsidian. I imagine people will make huge blast mining cavers deep in the nether searching for this stuff.

I haven't played MC 1.15 yet, sounds like an interesting update.

i think people upset about something better than diamond are only upset do to the attachment. I think it's a nice motivator to do some fun + dangerous nether mining and exploring :)c

I think it will add some new strategies to the game, especially in terms of Nether exploration. So yeah, I think it's a good idea.

Netherite reminds me of those old depictions of bedrock tools when Minecraft joke/roleplays used to be popular.

I mean it's ok but you can already breeze through the game with diamond armour... maybe give the armour a debuff like slowness or mining fatigue. Also, I know it's already hard to find but make it a bit more rare.

It''s cool that there is at least some new crafting of ingots, but it's a little strange that with one ingot you can turn completely turn diamonds into netherite.

I approve it, but I do think that it should have some kind of weakness.

For example: each and every piece makes you 10% slower(or something like that)

I don't much care about it. i mean yeah armor better then diamond that's cool. But to be honest I'm rather underwhelmed by it. also the name "netherite" has existed in at least 1 mod(divineRPG) well before this snapshot.

I also think that the armor and tools look a bit lack luster, I mean they're just gray. And while that might be good in the case of the blocks for building applications, I feel like the armor and tools should pop a bit more.





but with that said i'ma grind for hours to get it :P

It's pretty cool, but I feel like they could buff it just a bit, maybe give you wither and fire resistance when you have a full set?

Diamond will never be the same as has been for years, so, advancement and new content? or tradition?
