Yeah, фuck it, I'm making a datapack. Took me 15 minutes to figure out why one of my functions doesn't function (badum-tss), but it turns out I tend to mistype my commands.



I'm 1984% sure this can be optimized more, but I'm not doing that shиt.

Been Minecrafting with M this evening. We were making a "knockout" system. You know. When you don't really die and your friends can help you.

It's mostly done and involves the following:
—On critical damage players get knocked out (debuffs and gradual damage);
—When knocked out, you can't jump and instead of walking you have to crawl. Nothing heals you until you're up;
—Other players can revive you by standing near (when revived you go back into your usual state, but your health gets down to 1 as to not abuse the healing by getting knocked out). Revival takes time: there is a counter beneath player's nickname. When the number reaches 100, the player gets revived. You can be revived endless times.
—If player dies while knocked out, they die completely.

All this I did alone, meanwhile M was making a plugin. His plugin includes his own wip revival mechanic:
—When player is knocked out, you can help them by right clicking while holding shift. You must be in a 1 block radius to do this. You can't move when reviving, but you can stop holding shift to stop the revival. There's a bar with revival progress on top of the screen and some messages too.

Overall, I really like what we did in one evening. I don't even know which revival system to use now.

All this knockout stuff has some flaws and won't work properly in many cases, but it's a really good progress with what time we had.

Also, here are some images of me testing my packs with CIT Resewn. I also have a first-person-something mod, so now I actually have arms when holding my lovely lead-bursting sticks 💅. It's not perfect, but I really like the feel.









The next goal is probably renewing and completing my simplistic gun system. And maaaybe making it into a datapack. Then doing some other mechanics for the actual map. It's not the same one as the last, btw. This one's more simple, but it's similar.

Honestly, today was most fun I've had in a while.

I also can't wait to fix my Rimworld modpack. LobCorp and Rimworld are my favorites. Now I can play both with Anomaly DLC. Just need to get those 200 mods to work together.

—Regarding this profile:
Lately I've been exceptionally inactive on here — for a lot of reasons. This website means a lot to me, it really does. However I do not enjoy this community as I used to (and I think many others can relate). Instead of completely leaving, I've decided to make a new sort of policy for this profile:
I'm unsubscribing from most people. I just can't keep up with the feed I have.
Me no longer being subscribed to you doesn't mean that I find you worse of a creator or person than others. People I'll still be subscribed to are the ones who I look up to/think are too underrated for what they do/small creators/etc. I don't want to unfollow anyone, but that way I just won't be able to see through anyone's posts/content. I hope losing a corpse won't be too much trouble for ya :/
I don't plan on checking out anything outside of my subscriptions too, as of now.
I only plan on posting things related to my content/serious stuff I feel the need to address. That means that no mentions of my general life will be made (unless related to the post).

—Regarding my PC:
It's been repaired. That was hell. I might expand on that in a different post.

—Regarding Minecraft content:
I don't plan on making new skins anytime soon. What you might see are maps and resourcepacks and occasional posts about all of that. As you may know, I was learning command blocks half a year ago. Right now my friend, whom I mentioned here as M, is also into that map-making command-blocking shиt. I do have some difficulties with a lot of stuff, but I do plan on working on a map.
My CIT packs are most likely gonna be made for FABRIC (CIT Resewn mod). I am no longer using optifine. They should, however, still be compatible with it and I'll try my best to make them compatible. I don't plan on updating old packs, though.

—Regarding my art and book:
I don't know how the hell am I supposed to combine my art with command blocks, but I don't plan on abandoning my book (despite considering it for a moment). I didn't make nearly enough progress this summer, unfortunately. I did figure out a bunch of things, so that's something.
The story will basically consist of 3 parts that go like [​spark —> explosion —> ashes]. If I ever feel confident with the writing, I'll post the first part here when it's ready. Same for the rest parts and chapters. Until then, all the concept pictures will be posted as usual in my artblog (I'll start organizing it from now on).

—Regarding me:
Starting from almost six years ago, I'm feeling worse and worse every two years. I'm slowly deteriorating, but the contrast is only fully visible when comparing myself after every two years' worth of time. I'm physically healthy, but I'm getting closer to reaching my limit.
In case I'm not online for more than a year without saying anything: I'm two meters under. That's it.



And yes, I'm back to breaking Minecraft's policy. Фuck you, Mojang. Guns are cool.
