Current status, somewhat bearable.

The Earth, Terra Firma, was unstable when the first single celled organisms lived.
The Myas.... Were right.
Twenty twelve, December twenty first...
It was not the gravitational pull reversing, the sun did not explode...
Extraterrestrials, demons from the deepest reaches of the universe, found Earth.
Their plan, to repopulate the planet with their own kind and kill all it's inhabitants.
They were not green, big eyed, aliens.
They were... Viruses...
They rained down on the planet, looking like a storm cloud bigger than the earth itself.
They flew into homes... Buildings.... Hospitals...
They knew one was all it took.
They infected the humans.... Children.... Moms, dads, grandparents...
They rooted in the brain...
They took over...
The humans didn't notice... Until the virus began to control them.
The viruses implanted their own blueprints into te human brains,
The humans began slowly going insane.
They morphed the humans like clay, turning them into beasts worthy of horror movies.

Well, from what I gather, you generally shouldn't have a translator at the beginning, so I would advise replacing that with sentience, which is a very useful ability, as it allows your robot to think and react to unexpected situations.

Well, you will have to crash, as the only ships that, in my opinion, should be used are small fighters and shuttles. Other than that, I would say accepted.
