A few weeks ago i submitted a idea and screenshot to a mod about what if pmc had a way of making a group outside of the forums, so i thought i might share my idea with the rest pmc.
So do you think pmc should implement a group feature outside of the forums?

Well I would like it except I would probably have a hard time getting into a persons group because I am always being left out!!

Adding on to this, I think it should be a more peaceful version of a factions server in that each group has moderators that can edit the description, post contests, et cetera. Basically like the mods of PMC, except... maybe with a little more luv? lol jk.

What about a group levels up?
It starts at lvl. 1, then group submissions build it's level up over time. Maybe people in the group could get a cut of the XP? That might be exploitable though. I dunno.

What do you mean by "outside of the forums"? There aren't groups on the forums either?
And would it be a whole new member, or like a separate page on your user profile?

I think your getting a bit ahead of yourselves.
So what could happen like many said is that a group/groups of the same lvl can compete to see who is better at building/pvp/or anything really. The group can have stats of their group so people can decide if they want to go with a group that's really good at pvp or a group that builds allot. So this helps create a area where you are around people that do what you do and enjoy what they do. This is still a ideal but hey it could happen.

I already posted a pmc groups/guild suggestion - Paril's words: We have plans for groups.
I think it would be a great idea! I would love to see it implemented.
Groups are planned to be implemented, as far as when and how I can't say/don't know but there are plans for it at some point in the future.
My theory is that groups are going to be created, they're going to only start talking with their groupmates, then eventually there's a very little population of people NOT in a group, and then all the social parts of PMC get secluded.
Being that pmc is a very active and social site i don't think people will seclude them self's from others, in fact it might help with new pmc users bonding with user that share more of their own interests so no users will get left out.

would posting submissions in the group give anyone xp? or is t just for fun//becaue if it gave the user xp everyone would join all thrgroups..but if i gave the group xp nobody would post much on them and keep their submissions for themselves

EDIT: Maybe remove the XP, and allow only group members to see posts. A Group is not the same a network or builders or such. I'd like this feature to be able to make a blogging group, and have inner competitions and stuff...

I would love a group feature, but I'm not sure what would happen if PMC does introduce a feature like that.
