No It was from PMC. I clicked my on the forums link and I got two pop ups both asain girls, telling me to marry them. Lol. Then my mouse went away and started flickering. My computer is in excellent condition, and I had no other browsers open, at all.

Adware is programmed to open when your browsing online and clicking links. Run the scan to remove it. trust me, I had this problem a long time ago.

That is not caused by PMC, you probably picked up a virus.

the minecraft forums arent even official, just more well known to the community, but honestly i doubt the pop-up had anything to do with the site itself

Thats a known form of Adware that has installed itself on your PC, run a check with your antivirus software to remove it.

Its not part of the site.
Just an add sent from something else not the site trying to get you to buy something or something.

And probably do what sourcookie said.

Firefox is better than internet explorer.

Get ad-blocker, but also some dodgy adverts do pop up on the site, and before anyone says "oh, you must be watching porn, its not PMC's fault". I haven't been watching any porn, trust me

Or use Firefox and get AdBlocker. It's a tad rude but it works a charm.

Nothing related to this site at all.
I have never once gotten a pop-up whilst browsing PMC.
Get a better pop-up blocker.

It's not PMC. You went to some website and got a virus OR it's an ad trying to get you to download something.
