its not really a riddle when you can easily use a calculator to figure it out. And yes, the answer is a bit tricky if you let yourself be confused, but if A really is equal to the sum of 2 through 26, then it's simple enough. If not then it's poorly stated.

Removed my previous vote of Math. I put all those numbers in a calculator and got 350. Since 350 isn't the answer as Pickleaxe said. It's gotta be 351 isn't it?!

The thing is Sigma presents the answer to be 350, it couldn't possibly something else with the information you've given us, so as it stands, i don't care what you say it is, 350.
