Why so many?
Why is there so many "Ask me" threads in the GD?
I don't get it, I get that they become popular REALLY fast, kudos to you for thinking that.
But I personally ignore them.

I understand that they get loads of people commenting on them super fast, and I guess that's cool and stuff but they're pretty much the same thing.
I like the ones that ask you to draw something, although they completely ignore you as to how many comment xD
I prefer little threads that I can get involved in with everybody

AmazinglySarcasticKatykookieHatchedPikachuYou are a pleasant woman to be around and I should respect people regardless of their looks or gender
Why thank you xD
LOL. xD
Aha, this is full of win
I made one about 9 months ago, one of the first actually (probably in the first 3-5 on this site) but now people just spam them. It really gets old.
No one knows.....
i remeber my old ama that ended up getting 2000 and i guess people what that same fun that i did because i did have ALOT of fun with the long month i spent with it
You created the original post I guess. Others copied the idea and spread it around the forums.
i think that instead of spamming the forums with those ask questions they should just get an ask.fm, i mean you moderate your own questions. it's fun, and people like Midnight, sugarbun, etc are already using them. Not to mention you can customize the ask page whatever way you want. Anyways i think everyone is making those ask me posts because (like said earlier) they just want to jump on the bandwagon
I guess there fun to run.
I don't know really there are so many posts i wouldn't make one! ^.^

Two people's different AMA's aren't similar apart from the subject. They're ran by different people, with different questions and different answers.
An example of cross-posting is when a user posts a thread such as 'this is where all dragon eggs go' without looking that there is already an official thread for that.

Don't admins remove threads that are similar to each other?
They've been swamping the forums for some time actually. I don't really mind them, not an amazing thing, but no real problem
Hah get on track people, I get the whole idea I just don't get why so many have suddenly swamped the forums.
Now now! No need to be rude! Everyone is perfect in their own way!
people like to do them, i dunno why

I was only wondering, if I wanted anybody to ask me anything I'd ask in a PM
I don't particularly want anybody asking me a question like that.
Half the time they just say "How am I to know"

Well I start to ignore them too. People are still making these threads. So unoriginal.
Just people hoppin' aboard the bandwagon :P
