Kinda simple. Its lag as heck. Do I just have a crap computer or did Mojang not polish the update well enough before release?

The entire update was made to fix bugs and rework the entire rendering software to be smoother and all around less buggy. So it's most likely the computer, every update drops a little fps because the game itself gets more complicated.

Could you post your computer's specs?
The case might be how they changed their rendering system! Pre 1.15 I could recieve 60+ FPS, Post 1.15 I receive 30-60 FPS
