I suggest getting more RAM and new thermal paste. RAM upgraded my FPS from 8-20 and new thermal paste (Arctic silver 5) made that 20 to 60-80 FPS.
Your computer has nothing to do with it, unless it is FPS lag. If you are teleporting around on servers, you need to use a different ISP.
if it is fps lag upgrade your graphics/buy a new pc
if it is ping your internet is crap like mine making it almost impossible to play on servers

You can do a lot more to improve your FPS without buying a new computer/graphics card. For people like me, buying a new graphics card is impossibly considering its literally built into the motherboard and can't be removed. More RAM and new thermal paste does the trick.
Adding more ram only makes it faster, if you started with like 1 GB of ram.....anything over 4 GB will not make it faster.
get better connection. or if your computer is bad then get 15 dollars and buy a better pile of trash.
If your internet is slow, that's probably part of your problem... I'd look into getting that upgraded, first, if it's slow.
Guys, u dont need this
Just get a better quality graphics card. My computer used to only have 3 fps everywhere, but i got a new graphics card, and i have 80 constant FPS

Get a cheap gaming computer, then make videos on YouTube, become a partner, do chores, etc. until you can get a REAL computer
Get a Mac Pro mine is 3 years old and no lag at top render distance and full brightness.
They are kind of expensive though.

Spend $3000+ when you could spend $800 and build a gaming computer, that will run any game on ultra.....
Ok I was thinking of saving for a new computer too. I use laptops atm xD
Thanks guys
Thanks guys
What are your computer specs? If you are running Minecraft on a slow, computer, that will contribute to client side lag. If you are getting 50+ fps in single player, but 10-30 in multiplayer, it could be that the server doesn't have enough RAM, or that you have a bad connection, router. I have a private server and all of my friends have no lag on it, but one of my friends moves only once every 5 seconds (example of router lag).
Step 1: Get lots of money
Step 2: By a new computer specifically for gaming
Step 3: ???
Step 4: Profit!

Its your internet connection, or your computer quality. Not much you can do.
This.
