Whenever I'm playing in a plot server, someone always braggs about a so called "Dragon Egg". I'm somewhat new to minecraft, but I've been around long enough to know that except I dont know how to get one! Does anyone know how to get Dragon Eggs? If you do, please help me!!

Actually, you don't even need a piston for this, guys.
It can be done with a pickaxe and a torch.
Ever placed a torch below sand or gravel to break the whole vein? Same concept here, except a little bit different.
0 = Egg + = Endstone

+0+<-- Dig two blocks down from this block near the egg.

Now that you have that hole, dig the second block under the egg. Place your torch. Then break the block holding the egg up and it will fall on the torch, making your egg fall and break. Now you can pick it up!

You do not need a piston, simply mine out the block that the Egg is sitting on, and it will drop as an item.
Use a piston to push the dragon egg to drop it and place it.But be careful if in survival and you place it and hit it.It will teleport.
Ok, I see that the noobs have arrived. anyway, to get a dragon egg you must go to the end, and kill the enderdragon. once it is dead it go out in a sparkly explosion dropping around 100 levels of XP. it will also drop a dragon egg. how do I mine it? you may think it just pops away when I hit it?! well, the trick to mining it is pistons. so you will need a lever a piston and a block of lets say, cobble. place the piston facing the egg and the cobble block on the other side of the egg, turn the piston on and bam. there is your egg.

It's impossible. A Staff Member must've gaven it to them or they bought it if your server has a shop.
Kill the Enderdragon in the end. It's very hard.
