Dynmap killing server

I am running a ftb unleashed 1.1.5 server and i have dynmap installed. The issue it that dynmap eats ram faster then a fat man eats snack cakes causing the server to crash and burn even when noone is on the server,
So i have decided to uninstall it and im looking for something better.
Anyone have any suggestions?

Im not that sure about FTB and its plugins, but if you're looking for a good minimap, i recommend Rei's Minimap. Not sure if it's available for FTB though
