Hi! Recently me and some frineds wanted to reach the WORLD BORDER in vanilla minecraft. After reaching the border we encountered a strange bug. Whenever a tnt/creeper explodes a strange black shadow appears on some blocks. When walking into it you're getting kind of stuck and move verry slowly and buggy, and when placing a block or trying to burn it down with a flint and steel that specific buggy block reapears. This issue only happens on servers, near the border and upon reconnecting all the buggy blocks reapear somehow. From my speculations the exploded blocks don't load correctly and that causes the wierd shadow. Does anybody know how can i fix it?
We're playing on 1.16.4

What plugins do you use?
I don't use any
I've had this happen in Minecraft PS3 Edition but it naturally generates on cliff faces and stuff. I have no clue why.
A similar thing seems to happen in most versions when you mine blocks super fast (such as netherrack with an enchanted pickaxe)
This might be a "Lighting glitch" . Have you tried reloading the chunk? It could be because the world border is messing with the chunk causing it to be glitchy and have a lighting glitch. So it might not be something you can fix.
It might also be lag and your server not keeping up with the blocks being broken by the explosion.

Yeah, i just tried reloading the chunk and unfortunately that doesn't work. The only way i get the wierd shadow to disapear is relogging..
huh
Can you break blocks normally without the bug occurring? This is very strange, I haven't seen anything like this before.
Yeah, I can break all the blocks i want, the issue occurs only when something explodes.
Are you using a non-vanilla server jar? If so, does this bug occur on vanilla servers?
Yup, i'm using the official jar from here: www.minecraft.net/en-us/download/server/
