Failed to ping - Minecraft server
Hello, I've been trying to publish my server to Planet Minecraft, but when I finish entering all the information required about my server and press the "Save" button, it gives me the following error:
Failed to ping "66.85.168.10:25570". Make sure it is properly setup, port forwarded, online and other people can connect to it.
Note: Hamachi servers are not allowed but you can post them in this forum.
I am not using Hamachi, and my server is being hosted by DaddyCheese. I've had no problems publishing my server before this. Other players can connect to it, and there are some online right now. When I entered my server information in a Minequery tester, it was able to connect. Recently I've been having ALOT (and I really mean ALOT) of problems with my server on Planet Minecraft, and I'm at the point where I'm just going to give up on it.

I am having the same problem, although our host is a pc we have upstairs. Have you managed to sort it yet? Metalgearaxel

i suggest getting one of those signatures made that tells if your server is up and placing it in your desc.

No, i mean I can't even post my server, it wont let me. Right now I dont care if people can see if my server is online.

Ok, I was able to post your server under my account and it pinged successfully. I deleted it and then posted it under your account. Again it pinged successfully.
I then tried entering the full address + port into just the address field.
66.85.168.10:25570 and it failed.

Either way, I revisited the code that should have automatically detected and split the address from the port and fixed it whether that was the issue for you or not.
