Forge mod not working
russo_cowboy Hi, I'm new to modded Minecraft, I installed Minecraft Forge and Xaero's Minimap, all fine. It all installed properly on my computer, but I can't seem to actually use the mod, when I run Minecraft with Forge, it shows that the mod has been installed, it appears on the installed mod list, but it does not appear in any of my words, be them created before the installation or after.
Note: I did not contact the mod creator, as I'm unsure if it's actually the mod itself and not Forge or me.

There's a program that fixes issues with minecraft. To download it: https://sourceforge.net/projects/hjt/
When you open it, run it as administrator (it should be in downloads on Start) then select "Do a system scan and save a log file". when it's done, a notepad thing should show up, copy everything in the notepad, and then go to https://paste.ubuntu.com/
and then type your MC username, then paste what you copied in the content box, then hit "Paste" at the bottom when it's pasted, copy and paste that form's url (website link at the top) into this discord for support for mods to review it: https://discord.com/invite/58Sxm23

Although you probably want Xaero's, you could give Journeymap a try, just to see if that works. If it does, then its a good chance you have installed something incorrectly.

I don't think I've tried out Xaero's Minimap for quite a while, but the map might be binded to some sort of key that you need to press to display it.
