Hayo! I'm Pixus, although I suppose you could call me Pix for short.
I'm an aspiring writer who hopes to get a series up of mine running, although that's mostly just a pipe dream at the moment. As for what I'm doing on here? I'd say that the style I'm going for with my art would be similar to Minecraft with elements of Terraria mixed into it (heck, part of my inspiration was Elemental Animation's animated Terraria series), which was why I wanted to join this site in the first place. That, and to post my in-game models in... although they're modded so I don't think anybody would be able to use them without using those mods, which might defeat the purpose of using them. I'll see if I can try to create vanilla variants of them, though.
Here's what you can expect from me: models of my characters, renders with them, and posting progress of a texture/resource pack I'm working on made specifically for my renders. It's nowhere near finished, and I'd really appreciate criticism on it, what to change about it, and such.
I'm hoping to work on something Minecraft build related, but I'm unsure. If anyone has or is any Minecraft themed Discord servers, please do let me know! I'm mostly looking for places to share my works and get feedback on.
So I've been recently trying to restart progress of a mod I've started around a year or so ago, and I'm debating if I should upload progress of it on here, probably through blog posts or something. I mean, this is a Minecraft centric website, after all, so I guess it does make sense. That, and my mod isn't really too much, even for a newbie like me; it's just something that adds in cosmetic blocks, mostly because I like to build and I'm getting annoyed with having a limited pallet of blocks.
If you read this far, I'd like to hear your input on what I should do for this.
So I've mentioned the possibility of a Discord server a month or so ago elsewhere, and I've kept true to my word in that I do have a Discord server set up, but at the moment, it's very unfinished and I'm only going to let a few friends in at the moment, mostly for a quick test run and to get some feedback on how to improve the server.
If you're interested in helping me, feel free to comment or send me a note and I'll think about it!
I'll likely make the link public after a week or so has passed depending on what feedback I get.
Thats fine. I'd still like to hear about it if you want to. I love hearing series like this, as I have my own, and I love to see how creative people are
Apologies for my late reply! I thought I sent something but I didn't. I don't really have much for it, and it's still in a major work-in-progress phase so far.
