Soooo... I wanted to get replaymod. I could only get it for 1.8. So I got it Forge 1.8 and used replaymod a bit. Then I got bored. So I downloaded Forge 1.15.2. It didn't work. It would simply say there was a crash and sorry for the inconvenience. The game didn't even launch. As soon as the green bar filled up in the launcher, the crash dialogue showed up. No crash report. So I waited for 1.16 to come out to see if Forge worked in 1.16. Same results. Anyone have any solutions. Before anyone asks, yes I've played 1.16 AND 1.15.2. And no I don't have Forge 1.8 anymore. Has anyone experienced this before?

- I looked up the definition of parse and gathered that it meant to scan
- It had all my Minecraft Versions except forge

We need to see your full launcher log, which is created in the game directory. First open your .minecraft folder (If you don't know how to get there, ask), then try to launch the game. Then in the .minecraft folder open the launcher_log file, and copy its content to https://paste.ubuntu.com Click "Paste!", then share with us the link (the URL) that it takes you to. |

Try assigning more RAM to the game, and remove mods 1 by 1 to find which one is causing the issue.
I haven't played any Forge version since 1.8. But my Laptop has 8 GB of ram so I'll do 8.

Replay mod works with fabric after 1.12, so you'll need to download fabric for 1.16, not forge.
Ok. But what about Forge. I wanted to get other stuff for Forge only.
I dont know :/ You might have to stick to 1.12 forge and replay mod because fabric is the only way to get replay mod for any later versions. There are probably mods that add in the newer blocks to 1.12

Fabric and Forge are incompatible with each other and there aren't really any plans for compatibility (as both teams have their own perspective on modding and sharing code and things of that nature). You're going to have to choose between using Forge or Fabric mods.

I may have found a solution. I checked the launcher log. All lines had [Info] at the beginning except for one involving parsing forge 1.16.1 it said [Warning] so i may be able to fix it...

If you haven't yet, please remove the outdated mod(s) from your mods folder. What I mean is if you're using forge 1.16.2, then remove any mods that aren't a 1.16.2 mod.
I don't have any mods on.
