Getting Disconnected from Any Server on Minecraft 1.13.2

Seemingly out of nowhere, I have started to get disconnected from Minecraft servers sporadically. Sometimes after playing for a few seconds, and sometimes up to 15 minutes - although usually it affects in seconds.

Each time I get disconnected, I usually get a different disconnection message which I have no idea the meaning of. Although most commonly it is messages starting with "internet exception" such as:
"internal exception io.netty.handler.codec.decoderexception badly compressed packet - size of 5 is below server   threshold of 256".

I have a very high internet speed and a pretty good Windows 10 desktop which runs advanced games rather smoothly. I've had no other issues with my PC, and no internet connection issues. My frame rate on Minecraft servers is usually around 100 fps.

I have restarted my computer, reinstalled Minecraft, deleted the .Minecraft folder and reinstalled it again, turned down all my graphics settings (despite Minecraft running smoothly to begin with), etc. I've looked through every forum and video even remotely related to this issue, and cannot fix it. It is brutally agitating. Please help!!!

Did you find a fix for this? I've been having the same problem.

There are two options, either you need to run on a different MC version (try downgrading) or the issue lies with the server. If they are running Spigot or similar, the issue is "caused by having too high of a value for max-bulk-chunks in [their] world settings".

It can't be the fault of an individual server, since it is happening with all multiplayer servers (private and non-private). Also I don't know why I need to downgrade if I have such a good computer and internet speed. My friend plays on the same servers as I do with a crappy Windows 7 laptop and she doesn't get these issues.

The issue isn't to do with performance, but your MC version vs. the server version.
