Strange and unexpected lag in singleplayer
Recently I created a new world on 1.15.2. The game was running flawlessly for about a month. Then suddenly a srange behaviour appeared. It started lagging like on mp server (delayed chest and shulker box opening, stuttery mobs and water, laggy block placement and destruction). First I thought it was because of my newly constructed iron farm, but as I confirmed later, that wasn't the cause of a problem. This stuttering began appearing in all my other worlds, including completely empty ones (classic superflat without structures with a single chest). My F3 screen tps was way below 20 and fps was greater than 100. Memory consumption was also only at 10%. I should also tell that my pc (laptop actually) is pretty weak, though, it ran my 1.12 highly modded world perfectly fine.
So, in conclusion, I don't know where this problem comes from nor how to fix it. Really hope someone can help me. Also first time on this forum, hope I did everything correctly.
UPD:
Check this forum thread if you have simular problems https://www.worldofminecraft.com/content/single-player-server-lag
Worked for me. Still don`t know why this happens, my only guess is high latency to an internal server while monitoring the TAB screen. Will dig further, interesting case indeed.

It`s interesting actually. I figured that the root of the problem was lying in a big ping to an internal server. Though, that doesen`t explain the problem at all. Like, why am I having troubles connecting to my own PC lol.
Actually, I solved this problem by copying and deleting originals of my worlds. This method was suggested on some small forum, can`t quite remember where exactly.
allocate more ram, that work for me now as I experience little lag
Yes, that helps with FPS lag and with the workings of internal server, but in my case it insn`t related. I tried both raising the RAM limit and limiting it. Makes no difference whatsoever.
Have you installed any new programs lately and/or have you updated any drivers?
No, nothig like that. My drivers are up-to-date and PC is almost unused. No memory leaks too, even no viruses.
