Height limit in superflat mode?
I was building the Isengard and The Tower of Orthanc in the middle can't be more than 40-50 blocks high so far, but I can place any blocks on top of the previous layer. I am in superflat mode. idk whether it's a bug or there is a limit. Please help

Sorry doggle
There is a website to download modded minecraft.jars for your minecraft
Please do not advertise modded minecraft.jars as that is not allowed, thanks.
Retrujake, if you have ound them, I suggest using MagicLauncher or a similar program to get it into minecraft. If it needs Modloader or Forge, get that as well. sometimes these programs give trouble, but when you try it out enough, it should work. good luck with it, and let me know if you have found a mod that works, I'm curious!
are there a way to bypass the height?? i haven't tried mods and stuff so if there is a mod could someone help me to get into modding
I know default servers allow one to change the map height.. You could create a private one, change the height limit there, and do your building on it.
On tunneler's dream there already is 236 blocks
The world always has a 256 block limit. Probably because the floor starts from the 100th blocok
Yeah, I think I'll just make a new regular flat world. I got some details wrong anyways. Thanks for the help!
Dig Down. The stone preset takes up A LOT of height. As far as I'm aware, 200 blocks for the cave setting.
It's on the preset with all the stone, so that could be it...
It depends on what preset you are using. If you use the default, you should be able to go up pretty high.
Bug. The skybox stays the same, no matter your map type.
