Hello People, I have a question.
Hey Minecrafters, I am smorbrainiac, aka. Smor, I just wanted to ask some questions about Minecraft. I have been playing Minecraft for only two years, but I just tried to create a build team named, Build Team Fusion. I wanted to ask if someone would give me some advice about this build teams.

I'm part of a Build Team called 'Nexus'
If you wish to start a build team, be aware of which builders you hire. There's a lot of different types of builders, but most of the once who are really really good will want money for their builds. This means that YOU as the owner has to find commissions to them. If you don't, they'll go build their own stuff, and leave the team after a while.
Also remember to have a 24/7 server where builders can freely download their own builds, and have their own worlds. Basicly this means that you shouldn't make ranks like "Owner", "Builder", and "Default"
Instead make 1 rank called "Visitor" and make sure to have some Anti-World Downloader plugins on. All non-visitors shall have /op. Because then all builders and owners can act equal.

Adding on to what Indra said, build teams are supposed to be fun. I personally never liked working with people who were way too serious about building a spawn in a block game. Everyone has their preferences though.
You should also be available for recruits to ask questions and get the hang of things on your team. If the leader isn't active, people won't take you seriously.
If you're building for money, try to set deadlines. No one wants to wait a month for a small spawn to be built. Within that time, they could have found someone else. This is also applicable to builds that don't cost money. Try not to spend too much time on a single build.
Lastly, make sure you are serious about it. It should be something you truly want to do. It can be a lot of work. Sometimes people won't like what you do, though I wouldn't let that stop you. Like I said, everyone has their preferences.
Good luck!

Now, I've never actually created a build team, but I can give an analogy to it being like making a staff team.
Hopefully this helped? Cheers to you and your team.
- - It's always good to start out with a couple friends before you get into the real work. This would keep the team from falling apart and can have people you already trust before recruitment.
- - Next thing I'd also say is you want to 'lead' people. By this, I mean giving examples of what you're into building and your latest projects. They should be decent quality renders of some sort.
- - Finally, always remember that having a team isn't just about the money. You should enjoy building things for clients, if you don't, then maybe you should reconsider your idea.
Hopefully this helped? Cheers to you and your team.
