Help Iron Trapdoor

Can anyone tell me how I activate an Iron Trapdoor without using any redstone? In other words, I want to place it vertically without using redstone, command block, etc., I've tried using copy and paste from WorldEdit, copying an Iron Trapdoor vertically using redstone, but only copying the Iron Trapdoor without the redstone, but when I put them next to each other, they come back horizontally, does anyone know how I do it? I need this for certain furniture in the current contest.
