When I click LOGIN, the game just says LOADING... and stays like that. I only have the Capes mod, and I have no texture packs.

i need the answer to this too, i have the same problem.
It's minecraft.net, not you.
it started a few minutes ago
The login servers are down at the moment, they'll be up as soon as the employees at Mojang can fix them! They're usually pretty fast about this stuff.
Just click options then "force update" then Login. Keep in mind that all your mods will be erased and you have to re-install it
