How do I turn these dirt blocks into grass path without waiting for them to turn into grass block?

Sadly, there is no other way than waiting. Hand-E pointed out the only survival friendly way to speed it up. Other than that. No other way but to just wait :)
Get a Silk Touch pickaxe, mine some Grass, replace the Dirt with Grass. Now you can turn the Grass into Grass Path.
Don't have a way to get the silk touch enchantment book but thanks anyway ;)
