Skindex sucks, people steal and duplicate your skins all the time. Why not look here, lol

It's harder now that the launcher changed. But if you go into your resource pack, do this.

(resourcepack)>assets>textures>entity>steve

Replace it with any skin you want, and rename the skin as Steve

1. Go to Minecraft.net

2. Go to profile

3. Scroll down a bit, then choose the file of the skin you want, then click upload! Done!

You can't change your skin on a cracked account.

You can't get a ''official skin'' without having premium. In certain hack launchers; ex, Mineshafter. you can have a skin, only the users who use the same hackclient as yours will see it. Hope it was clear

actually, you get a resource pack, go into it, find the "char.png" and delete it, then, find the skin you want, download/make it, and rename it "char.png" and put it where you found the original "char.png" file

I believe you mean "steve.png" instead of "char.png" as that no longer exists as of 1.6.

From the MC wiki: steve.png (Minecraft 1.6 and above) is located in the "\assets\minecraft\textures\entity\" folder
