How to hide GUI?

I want to make an MC film, and I'd like to get rid of the GUI, but to keep the hand of your player. Any way to do this? Doesn't matter if there are any 3rd party programs involved/mods.

Just make a resource pack that removes the gui. Easy.

Wow, I- uh... That's actually a good idea. How did I not think of that? wow... I feel kinda embarrassed now, especially because I'm doing this thing with a custom resource pack...
