So Im very new to minecraft, modding and everything else.
I have found it quite annoying when pets (wolves, cats etc) accidently get hit by me when Im attacking hostile mobs, or when they take fall damage while following me around. Even if its kind of cheat-sy, I want my pets to stop dying and being so fragile.
I have found a mod, Friendly Fire, that was supposed to keep your pet mob safe from your attacks, but that one hasnt been updated in a long time.
I did also find a Thread here trying to explain how you can make mobs invincible with commands?
But I didnt really understand it... plus that it was over a year old, so I dont even know if that option is still up to date?
I would appreciate any help I can get :)
PS. If theres a way to make leashes UNBREAKABLE please do tell LMAO (im tired of running around looking for my donkeys/llamas when they get stuck and wander off after the leash pops off them.)

Well one way I've made invincible mobs was with this uh, what's it called, I think it was like a spawn egg generator maybe, and so you customize the mob that spawns when you use the egg. You have to copy & paste the command, sometimes you'll have to use a command block as well if you change a lot of things. If you're interested I can try and go find the site I used to use, I think it was something along the lines of "Minecraft Tools" but I don't quite remember.
Also, sadly I don't know how to make leashes unbreakable :(
