Minecraft Armor Bug

For a long time, I've been having this issue. My armor in minecraft is not being rendered properly; it turns my skin purple and black when I wear it. That includes all vanilla armor sets and one particular set from the Nevermine 2: Advent of Ascension Mod (Embrodium armor, if that helps). I hope you guys can help me with it.

The armor pieces have no textures, so they appear in those colors. Are you using a resource pack or something that removes them? If not then try updating your forge version.

I'm no expert on the issue, but I do know that the purple and red comes in when there is a missing texture. So maybe there is some sort of texture that is not where it should be?

Yeah ..I've figured out that the problem is with forge. Now how do I fix it?

Try uninstalling and reinstalling forge, and make sure you are downloading it from the official site.

This isnt a Minecraft bug. Id say either one of your texture packs left the all of the armor textures undefined, OR one of the mods you have installed overrides the default texture and broke it.

I don't use texture packs. Does it have anything to do with forge? Because I noticed this even in Vanilla.

EDIT: I tried it on Vanilla, and it seems to be working. But its not working in forge without mods....
