Back when I started using Minecraft I used an older email. Recently, I changed my email, so I never checked the old one. Well, the one I used for Minecraft was shut down and now I can't login to Minecraft. Is there anything I can do?
PS: I already checked Google and the Mojang hasn't emailed me back in about a week

I would send a support mail to Mojang, or personally contact one of the staff on Twitter or something
If you used PayPal, could you still recover the account?

You need your transaction code. There is no way to recover your account without it.
