Minecraft Error

I try to go into mc realms but I get an error try restarting your minecraft. I tried reloging, reloading and even restarting my pc. How do I fix this. am I the only one who is getting this. can some one please help me out?

my realms don't say try restarting your mc. but still laggy on chat and on multiplayer

I am also using version 1.12.1, I find pretty good no mobs on my mc

If you're using a modded client (Usually only heavy modded with more than 8-12 mods on) or if you're not using the latest version of Minecraft, whenever you click the Realms button. An error will appear telling you that you're not using the correct version.
If the error appears when you join the Realm, then it's either your launcher or the Realms themselves. I haven't been able to find any info wether the Realm servers should have any errors at this very moment, but according to Minecraft.net. All Realms should be up an running without any problems.
