Minecraft performance problems

So I wanted to start recording some Minecraft issues but my performance was very poor so after some research I installed Fabric with Sodium, Lithium, Iris Shaders and Wi Zoom
And I still get some spikes of frames drop like suddenly from 120 jumps to 60 or lower

Here are my laptops specs :

CPU : Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-7700HQ CPU @ 2.80GHz

GPU : Integraded card : Intel(R) HD Graphics 630

GPU : NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 with Max-Q Design

Thanks in advance if you could help me cuz I really want to start a series and cannot record/ or play without this Frame Drops

EDIT: I forgot to say that if there''s anything else like other info that I could provide I'll be happy to and sorry for my english(not my primary language :)) )

where do the frame drops usually happen? and are they microstutters or does it smoothly increase/decrease?

minecraft's occlusion culling algorithm is some lazy BS and generating new chunks can occupy the CPU longer than usual. mods like MoreCulling can help with players/mobs if you're on a busy server, but it sounds like other sources of ingame lag have already been dealt with. chances are you have some other program running that's getting in the way, my specs are not far off from yours and I don't have many issues.

you didn't say how much memory you have, how much?

16 gigs of RAM and 6 gigs on the GPU. I dont know that programs could be and minecraft is using 80% of cpu

Open the Video Settings, and under the performance tab set Chunk Update Threads to 3 or less and check every box. In the Advanced tab, set the Memory Allocator to Async, then turn on Persistent Mapping and DMA.

If you have any external recording software other than Shadowplay (i.e. Medal.tv), turn it off. A lot of always-on recording programs claim to not have any lag at all but it's just untrue.

It might help for us to know where the framerates drop the most often.

If it happens when new chunks are generated that sounds like a CPU bottleneck. The world surface also has to render everything at once which would be slow for the GPU. Try setting Leaves Quality to Fast maybe, in busy forests I find it helps me a lot. Otherwise I'm not sure what else could be changed

Try optifine. It really helps.

Edit: If you're on windows10, try going into task manager, go into details, find java-something-or-other (can't remember the name rn), right click, and set the priority to high. That might help.

Maybe turn down render distance, graphics settings, etc.

he's already using sodium+lithium. there are extra addons that do more but at this point switching to optiforge is going to just make the problem worse.

I think you should get 300+ fps

Check your GPU settings

Also, open Task manager, if your CPU is lower than 2.5 GHz something else must be wrong
