So, this morning, I went on to Minecraft. I noticed 1.5.1 came out, but I didn't update. When I went to Singleplayer, I noticed my main Survival World was just gone! I spent months working on it, I had a bunch of Enchanted Diamond Stuff and an awesome Treehouse. I even beat the Ender Dragon!
I started that world up after I downloaded 13W02a. I last played on it the night before, just to quickly do some farming. Can anyone please help me with this? I even went to my .Minecraft file and went through my Saves folder, and the world wasn't there either. It was like someone actually deleted the world.
If anyone could help me with this, or at least tell me why this happened, it would be great, thanks.
EDIT: I forgot to mention, I'm using NotEnoughItems and Damage Indicators. But could these possible cause my world to disappear altogether?

That went off topic fast, but necroing is bad. If you still have trouble, make a new thread in Minecraft help.

Should always make backups on your save files before updating your client.

It was gone before I updated. I updated after I noticed it was gone.

But whenever you run Minecraft, it SHOULD create a new folder even if you deleted it. Restore the new folder, or just restore the .minecraft folder altogether

Why would I restore my .Minecraft folder? Only that world is gone, not all of my .Minecraft. The world Folder's gone, but not the entire Save's folder.

Just restore the folder. You may loose some data, but it's better than restarting over again

I can't. It's not there.
When you delete a World Folder manually (not while inside Minecraft, but from the Saves folder) it goes into the Recycle Bin. When you do it from inside Minecraft, it's gone. Poof. Not in the Recycle Bin. It's gone.
EDIT: I'm not saying it WAS deleted from inside Minecraft, I'm just saying it seems like it was.
