Player cannot be found when it was @p

When type : /tellraw @p.... is says "that player cannot be found?
How the....WHY!?

It might as well be spigot/bukkit instead of FULL vanilla.
Or maybe something silly like a double space... who knows...
Does something like /tp @p 0 100 0 work?
Or try another command with @p in it, I don't really know.

Yes. It works with other commands even with /tellraw (@p) itself.It rarely cannot find the player and i tried retyping it.Still won't work.

Does /tellraw @p work when running it from chat? On a server or single player?

Where are you running this from, a command block, in chat, or through the console? Commands ran through the console aren't able to choose the closest player as the console has no position in the world. That would also explain why @a is working.

Other than that, it should work.

Also when i put in @a it works and i use version 1.10. Hope it helps
