Weird rails problem
Hey guys, little intro: I had an account previously, but mostly lurked. So I had to make a new one after that password thing happen and I lost my old email. Didn't feel like making a whole new thread in the intro section :>
I'm making some railways just for fun, so no advanced setups or anything. This is the setup:
apparently the image gets cut by the forum, heres the link: http://i40.tinypic.com/2n8r52v.jpg
The one on the left is the start, the one on the right is the arrival.
To start a cart, I normally place it on the powered rails and hop in. The cart gets boosted and works fine.
If you look on the right, you'll see another track. That track has the same exact setup, but the cart doesnt get boosted: I have to push W and the cart moves very slowly, like there were non-powered rails under it. Further on the line there is a powered rail (1 every 40), and when the cart moves over that rail (always very slowly) it acts like it was a normal rail, it doesnt get a boost or anything.
What am I doing wrong?
Thanks in advance

Use [ simg] instead of [ img] when posting a picture for automatic resizing.
I really can't see Line C that well, if you could upload another picture of Line C in the foreground, I may be able to identify your problem.
Just to make sure, you are placing the cart directly adjacent to a block, right? Powered rails only accelerate a cart that already has momentum in a certain direction.

Thanks for the reply but I expressed myself badly.

Line A is for starting a cart, line B is for stopping a cart (they both work fine)
Line C is for starting a cart, is built the same way as A but doesn't work like I said in the main post.

in short
a powered rail is slowing your cart down when it isn't powered.
For example the right track.
The left track is powered by a redstone torch. The power from the first rails
transfers to the others (with a limit) and boosts the mine cart.
