I've been trying hard to look for the best possible PC/Monitor/Laptop for Minecraft Java Edition. Many people usually began with "Alienware is the best" but others say it's garbage. All I want is for my game to run very smoothly with zero lag. The cost can be a bit high, I don't mind, so if you know which one would be the absolute best for me I'd love to hear which one!

I use low end laptop like:

2GB Ram
1.33 CPU
32 GB storage
1 GB Graphic card

this very minmum parameters for T-launcher users

it all depends on how high spec do you want to run the game and how much you are willing to spend. you can get custom made computers at overclockers (that's where I got mine) but it depends how much your willing to spend

I mean, I have a refurbished business-class Dell I bought on eBay for $150 with a $50 graphics card from Amazon, a $20 SSD, as well as a refurbished Acer monitor also from eBay... with vsync (which you should always use), I max out at my monitor's refresh rate -- 75 fps/Hz. For those who don't know what vsync does, it caps the framerate at the refresh rate of your monitor. This means the game won't try to render faster than your monitor can actually display, because that would use more resources, power, etc than necessary.

Main things you should look for:
- decent graphics card, doesn't have to be too fancy for just MC
- at least 8GB RAM, you should have this even if you don't want to play games
- a dual-core or better CPU, at least 2.0GHz, ideally quad-core at 3.0+ GHz
- an SSD instead of a traditional hard drive

If you really want the best bang for your buck, running a Linux distro such as Ubuntu will most likely be significantly faster than Windows. But if you have to ask a question like this, that's probably not for you. Feel free to dm me or reply if you want more info or an explanation of what any of this means.

"Whats the best" is a very subjective question.

That is like saying "Whats better between AMD or Intel?" - it usually comes down to personal opinion.

Seeing as the game can run on a low end laptop from 2011 I would say any of the latest gen gaming hardware would easily suffice.

For Minecraft the general rule of thumb is you need a CPU with good per-core benchmark scores. The higher the per-core score the better the CPU will perform when running Minecraft. You don't actually need a top spec GPU unless you want to ray-trace as most of the work in Minecraft is done by the CPU.

I play on a 2009 quad core AMD Athlon 2 640 with 16gb ram and a GTX 1060 6gb and I don't get any lag during game play.

If you want the best of the best just google "best pre-built gaming pc", or google "best gaming hardware 2020" and build your own rig, but in all honesty you will probably end up with something overkill for Minecraft.

Even with my AMD CPU from 2011 it runs fine. If you just want to play Minecraft and not render films or play Crysis you most likely could just get an old CPU/GPU for cheaper.

the best PC for all out performance would be one you build with a Threadripper 3990X, a Quadro RTX 8000, 256GB of RAM at 3200MHz, an MLC (not TLC or QLC) NVMe SSD and a motherboard, cooling solution and power supply that can handle it. Monitor would be up to your preferences.
that would all be costly, and not work as a laptop

to get back to something more reasonable, my computer is a laptop, a Lenovo P72 with a Quadro P3200, and it is more than enough for this task

I prefer a computer with at least an Intel i7-8650U and 8 gigabytes of RAM. Those tend to run better, although they sound like jet engines.
